About Gil
Gil is the scalp micropigmentation artist behind HairDot.Ink, a private SMP studio at 4525 Sherman Oaks Ave #201 in Encino, CA. For more than 15 years he has worked exclusively in scalp micropigmentation, helping over 1,500 clients across Encino, Sherman Oaks, and the greater Los Angeles area regain the look of a full, natural hairline without surgery.
Gil trained in Europe under some of the earliest pioneers of the SMP technique. His signature is a hairline that mimics the irregular, slightly uneven pattern of real hair follicles — the detail that makes SMP undetectable up close.
Every client who books with HairDot.Ink works with Gil directly, from the first consultation through the final touch-up session. There is no rotating staff and no handoff to a technician.

Sanitation & Sterilization
Scalp micropigmentation involves breaking the skin barrier, so studio hygiene isn't optional. Here's exactly how each session is kept safe.
- Single-Use Needles — Every needle cartridge is sealed and sterile, opened in front of you at the start of your session, and disposed of immediately afterward in a sharps container. No needle is ever reused on another client.
- Single-Use Disposables — Pigment cups, gloves, razors, and skin-prep supplies are single-use and opened per client. Gloves are changed whenever they're compromised during a session, not just between clients.
- Station Disinfection — The treatment chair, tray, and all contact surfaces are wiped down and disinfected with hospital-grade solution before each client and again at the end of the day.
- Ask Us Directly — Specific licensing and health-department documentation for the Encino studio is available on request during your consultation.
